Fallow deer in Croatia should be experienced, especially during the rutting season when the fallow deer compete with each other. The fight between fallow deer is even more intense than a fight between red stags, a memory of a lifetime. Fallow deer is a medium-sized animal, they come in different colors - from dark to light brown fur with white spots and this deer is one of the few species that does not lose its spots. The hunt takes place from a hunting tower or by stalking with a skilled 1:1 guide and we recommend the rut in October, but also before and after the rut.
